Most patients who are suspected of having a bone or soft tissue tumour (often called sarcoma), will have one or more scans of the affected area.

Surgery for a bone or soft tissue tumour usually involves removing the tumour and some surrounding normal tissue.

Chemotherapy is used alongside other treatments for bone and soft tissue tumours.

Radiotherapy is sometimes given as part of the treatment for bone or soft tissue tumours
