Course information
The course is delivered fully online over 8 or 10 weeks (2 x 2 hour sessions per week)
8 week course = certificate
10 week course = certification and eligibility to apply for the FOM diplomas
Course format
The course will be delivered via MS Teams™ – in the online presentations/interactive sessions, there will be a maximum of 12 learners. There will be 1-2 tutors presenting.
Additionally, there will be the provision of 1:1 leaner to tutor sessions across the four modules. There will be 1hr of 1:1 support per module i.e. a total of 5 hours of 1:1 support across the course.
This course is deliberately designed to ensure that the provision of 1:1 learner to tutor support takes place. This will allow for the tutors and learners to provide bespoke and enhanced discussions to meet the needs of that learner, and to allow for timely and regular feedback to the tutors about the delivery of the course.
Each learner will have their own electronic workbook which will set out each week’s topics covered in the presentations and the workbook will directly map to the FOM curriculum, so that the learner will be able to note the successful completion of the various modules. This workbook will be discussed at the start of the course during the learner’s induction and introduction to the course.
