Please note that this service is primarily for GPs in Newcastle or surgeries that send blood tests to our laboratory.
We cannot routinely review blood tests from other hospitals and understanding laboratory processes in our own trust as well as being able to access other results and trends is vital to offer appropriate advice.
If help is required with a patient that is currently under our care or known to our service then please write to the appropriate haematologist directly. We aim to reply to all GP advice and guidance requests within 48 hours but an answer will often come sooner.
