Single point of access
You have open access to the health visiting service by calling the Single Point of Access if you need support or guidance.
Monday to Friday 8.30am-4pm.
We provide lessons in:
- Talk PANTS – This will be delivered in year 2 to help the child to understand that their body belongs to them and to tell a trusted adult if they are worried or upset.
- PHSE lessons – These are great, and a safe space for children to talk and develop ideas about who they are, about the people around them and to learn how to keep themselves healthy, but the role models for children are those they see around them every day.
- Health for kids – This has a wealth of health promotional information that parents can use to reinforce health messages but the most important thing is to talk to you child about what they have learnt in school, how things make them feel and how you can support that learning with those health messages. This website also has a kids section that you can help them navigate.
