School health team work to promote healthier lifestyles through personal, social and health education. We do this by providing support to schools schools via pop up events, and assemblies to share important health messages.
Using evidenced based material and resources from the personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) association, we offer support to schools around understanding the teenage brain, risk taking behaviours and healthy relationships and other health related messages that teachers may ask for.
But the role models for young people are those they see around them every day.
Health for teens has lots of health promotional information that you can use to understand health messages. The most important thing is to talk to your young person about what is important to them, how things make them feel and how you can support that learning with those health messages. This website also has a section that teens can search themselves.
