Following the incident at the RVI yesterday, the New Victoria Wing main entrance remains closed this morning and a cordon is still in place. A temporary reception area has been set up to support patients and visitors with any queries.
Anyone coming into hospital should continue to use alternative routes including the New Victoria Wing entrance near to children’s outpatients and the Leazes Wing entrance.
