Ward 3 is an adult urology ward, which provides care for people who need treatment for complex conditions affecting the urinary tract. This can include the:
- kidneys
- ureter
- bladder
- prostate
- urethra
- male reproductive system
You will be admitted to the ward on the same day as your planned procedure. Your length of stay in hospital will depend on the complexity of your surgery.
If you have emergency treatment you may be admitted to Ward 3.
Location of ward
Ward 3 is on Level 3 at Freeman Hospital. From the Main Entrance, walk past the reception desk and follow the corridor. You will pass the shop and the hairdresser on your left. Turn left and take the stairs or lift up one floor to level 3 and follow the signs for Ward 3.
