Leading an Empowered Organisation™ (LEO) is a programme delivered to leaders and managers, designed to ensure ownership at every level of the organisation for decision making, creating effective team relationships, managing risk and creative problem solving.
The programme has been found to be an effective way of empowering nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (NMAHPs) to be more positive, transformational leaders.
The LEO Programme
The LEO programme is made up of two parts:
Part One
The initial three day LEO programme where there is a strong emphasis on supporting leaders to develop an empowering approach when leading and managing teams.
It provides a practical approach, containing values and evidenced skills as a ‘tool box’ that can immediately be applied in practice.
Part Two
The follow up component of the LEO package is made up of two LEO review days, both half day sessions about one month apart.
There is a strong emphasis on Action Learning and an opportunity to reflect on the application of the newly acquired LEO principles in your practice area.
