How we are delivering this priority
Corinne Johnson recently joined Newcastle Hospitals as our Lead Midwife for Digital Healthcare.
Corinne joins us from Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and will lead on the implementation and roll out of our major new electronic patient record for Newcastle’s maternity services.
This new system called BadgerNet will be used as our maternity patient’s electronic patient record (EPR) recording everything that happens from the moment of presentation for maternity care, throughout the pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods.
Real-time records
Everything is recorded and accessible by other healthcare professionals in real-time, delivering safer effective care for our maternity patients.
