Sustainable Healthcare in Newcastle (Shine)
Our next in person presentation will take place on 9 August between 12noon – 1.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, Royal Victoria Infirmary. Our Members Event will focus on one of our Trust priorities – tackling the health emergency that is the climate emergency.
We will hear from Anna-Lisa Mills, Programme Manager for Sustainability, on why the climate emergency is a health emergency and how our award-winning Shine programme is aiming to help tackle this. We will also hear from Odeth Richardson, Head of Occupational Therapy, on a specific example of how our Occupational Therapy Team have lowered the carbon footprint of their care pathway.
