We understand that this may be a worrying time for our maternity patients but we want to reassure you that our entire maternity services team is here to support you during your pregnancy, labour and birth.
If you have any worries or concerns about your pregnancy it is important that you continue to contact your community midwife or the maternity assessment unit. Please do not put off coming in to hospital, it is important that we are able to support you and address any concerns you may have.
We are continuing to follow national guidance from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Midwives and Anaesthetists. This changes regularly so please continue to check our website for any further updates.
In the event that you feel that you have specific needs as an individual, please do speak with your community midwife or, alternatively, a member of staff at your Hospital appointment.
We appreciate the worry and concern that is caused by the restrictions and recognise the immense challenge experienced by women and their families throughout the year. We thank you for your patience and send warm wishes from all of us within the Maternity Service.
