Dr Simon Kerr qualified in medicine from the Newcastle University in 1993.
Dr Kerr subsequently undertook specialist training in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the Northern Deanery and was appointed as a Consultant in Newcastle in 2006.
Special interests
Dr Kerr specialises in the investigation and management of falls and syncope in adults, in particular older adults, and the management of autonomic disorders.
Research
Dr Kerr is active within clinical research – his research interests include the assessment of autonomic disorders and the investigation of falls and syncope.
