Professor David Deehan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital where he carries out complex and revision surgery of the knee with specialist interests in revision and robotic surgery, cell biology, biomechanics of the knee and immunotribological aspects of host implant interaction.
Professor Deehan was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in 2000. He holds a chair in Orthopaedics at Newcastle and is a visiting Professor at Imperial College, London.
