Mr Steve Aldridge is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary where he specialises in orthopaedic trauma, upper limb trauma, shoulder and elbow surgery.
Mr Aldridge’s specialist practice includes arthroscopic shoulder surgery for instability and rotator cuff pathology, open shoulder and elbow surgery, and upper limb fracture and non-union surgery.
He completed training in Cambridge (Medical School), Newcastle upon Tyne (Surgical Training), Sydney (Upper limb fellowship) and Grenoble (Trauma Fellowship).
Mr Aldridge became a Consultant in Newcastle, is currently an AO faculty member, and has taught as faculty on upper limb surgery courses.
Mr Aldridge is also interested in sports medicine, and has worked for British Gymnastics as a team doctor.
