Mr Mohamed Nassar is a consultant in paediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery and operates across the whole spectrum of congenital heart surgery, including heart transplant and ventricular assist devices
Biography
Mr Mohamed Nassar graduated from Alexandria School of Medicine, Egypt; where he also completed his Cardiothoracic surgery training. Mr. Nassar did his congenital cardiac surgery training between La Timone Children Hospital, Marseille, under Prof. Metras and Evelina Children’s Hospital, London, under Prof. Anderson.
In 2015, he spent a year as a senior clinical fellow at Freeman Hospital under Mr. Hasan. He has been working as a consultant of paediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery at Freeman Hospital since 2016.
He performs more than 150 operations a year across the whole spectrum of congenital heart surgery, including heart transplant and ventricular assist devices, and has regularly been taking part in charity missions to help children with poor access to cardiac surgery.
