Mr Jason Powell is a MRC Clinician Scientist and Honorary Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon.
Mr Jason Powell graduated from Newcastle Medical School in 2009. After completion of basic surgical training he took up a specialty training post in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery alongside a NIHR Clinical Lectureship in the North East of England.

This was based at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and provided extensive training in the management of children’s ENT diseases.

His research focuses primarily on infectious disease and inflammatory disorders within the airway and middle ear cleft, particularly in children. This work spans bench to bedside; including laboratory and translational clinical research.
