Mr Hany Gabra is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Newcastle’s Great North Children’s Hospital specialising in children’s surgical and urological oncology, vascular access, chest wall surgery and neonatal surgery.
Mr Gabra has been Consultant Paediatric Surgeon in Newcastle since 2010 after training in Leicester, Nottingham, Leeds and London (Great Ormond St Hospital).
A core member of the paediatric oncology team, Mr Gabra’s main interest is paediatric solid tumours and vascular access. Other interests include chest wall problems and vascular malformations.
His clinics include: general clinic, chest wall and bracing clinics.
He also carries out paediatric education, including being a MRCS examiner, and he is the lead for SSC students at the Great North Children’s Hospital.
Research interests include Neuroblastoma.
Memberships include peer reviewer for national cancer peer review program (CQuINS) and he is also a member of:
