Mr Damian Holliman is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the RVI’s Neurosciences Centre where he specialises in neuro-oncology, skull base surgery and head injuries.
Having received a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Dundee, followed by a Glaxo Prize Scholarship to study for a PhD in molecular neurobiology at the Institute of Psychiatry London, Mr Holliman’s undergraduate medical training was in Newcastle.
HIs general neurosurgical training took place in Cambridge, Middlesbrough and Newcastle, completed by a fellowship in Neuro-oncology and Skull Base Surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, Canada.
A keen proponent of clinical trials, Mr Holliman is currently the Newcastle Principle Investigator for the STOP-D trial.
Mr Holliman is pleased to receive referrals for neuro-oncology, skull base tumours, head injury and general neuro-spinal surgery.
