Dr Tom Creasey is a consultant haematologist at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care. He specialises in the treatment of patients with blood cancers, particularly myeloma and lymphoma. He qualified from Newcastle University medical school in 2008. He then completed his post-graduate training in Nottingham and the North East and was appointed as a consultant at the Freeman Hospital in 2021.
He additionally completed a PhD between 2017-2021 where he researched the genetic landscape of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in older adults and has a specific interest in the role of genetic risk stratification in blood cancers.
