Dr Sandeep Singhal is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Freeman Hospital’s Northern Centre for Cancer Care specialising in lung and gynaecological cancers.
He completed specialist training in Clinical Oncology from Devi Ahilya University, Indore and All India Instt of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1991.
Dr Singhal worked as Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in Ahmedabad, India (1991 – 2004)
He was awarded CCST by The Royal College of the Radiologists in October 2003
Worked as Consultant Clinical Oncologist at North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust, Carlisle from 2004 until taking up his current post at NCCC in August 2013.
He is involved in various Multi Centre Research Trials pertaining to Lung and Gynaecological malignancies and is a core member of Regional Gynae MDT at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.
Dr Singhal has a special interest in Image Guided Adaptive Gynae Brachytherapy.
