Dr Ruth Stanley is a community and general paediatrician.
She completed her undergraduate medical training and post graduate training in Newcastle.
Dr Stanley sees children in the Child Development Centre where there are concerns about their development. She also works with the team providing assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder for preschool children.
Dr Stanley is the medical lead at the Great North Children’s Hospital for Children in Care. She also holds the role of designated doctor for children in care in Newcastle for Newcastle and Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group. Dr Stanley also contributes to shifts within the acute paediatric assessment unit at the hospital.
