Dr Rob Forsyth is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at the Great North Children’s Hospital and Senior Lecturer in Child Neurology at Newcastle University. He has a particular interest in rehabilitation after acquired brain injury and epilepsy.
Dr Forsyth trained in Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham, Newcastle and Vancouver Canada, qualifying in 1987.
Research
He combines clinical work with research into children’s brain injury and am also a Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University.
He was a National Training Adviser in Paediatric Neurology for six years (between 2003-2009) and has an interest in training the next generations of child neurologists.
Dr Forsyth is a board member of the European Paediatric Neurology Society.
