Dr Crombie originally from Gateshead, relocated to Edinburgh for medical school. Rachael has worked in Dundee Scotland as well as rotating through Durham, Carlisle, Northumbria as well as Newcastle here at the RVI. Rachael was appointed as a Consultant in 2023 and leads the early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology service. She also has special interests in reproductive choices and menopause.
Alongside her clinical roles Rachael oversees the department’s clinical governance, driving consistent high standards in patient safety and care.
