Dr Michelle Lannon is a Consultant Haematologist specialising in Acute Leukaemia, Bone marrow failure disorders and Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) cancer care.
Dr Lannon graduated from The University of Dundee in 2007 and completed her medical and Specialty Haematology training in the North East in 2016.
After finishing her Specialty Haematology training, Dr Lannon worked in the Freeman Hospital as a Clinical Fellow in Research, recruiting and managing patients on haematology clinical trials, before taking up her Consultant post in 2019. Dr Lannon is the chair of the regional TYA MDT and Clinical Lead for Newcastle Hospitals.
