Dr Jason Urron is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at the Great North Trauma and Emergency Centre at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary where he has special interests in paediatric emergency medicine and trauma. He also runs a soft tissue injury clinic.
Dr Urron graduated from Newcastle University in 1997. He carried out broad-based junior medical training in the Northern Region before commencing Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
His consultant career began at the University Hospital of North Tees before commencing his post as Consultant in Emergency and Paediatric Emergency Medicine in Newcastle in December 2013.
Dr Urron is an instructor on paediatric and trauma life support courses.
