Dr Daniella Lee is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Freeman Hospital’s Northern Centre for Cancer Care specialising in breast cancer and soft tissue sarcomas.
Having graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest Romania, Dr Lee completed her early medical training in Norwich, East Anglia.
Dr Lee’s clinical oncology training was in the Northern Deanery, where she gained her FRCR fellowship in 2003. Having fallen in love with the North East, she was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in 2004.
Dr Lee specialises in non-surgical treatments for breast cancer and soft tissue sarcoma radiotherapy.
After being involved in medical education as Training Program Director for the Clinical Oncology Northern Deanery training scheme from 2009 to 2014, she has been Clinical Governance lead for the oncology team at NCCC since 2015.
