Jan has a varied clinical background having worked in community, ward and intensive care nursing. She later specialised in resuscitation and went on to manage the Simulation Centres at the Freeman Hospital and RVI.
Jan is a registered course director and teacher for the following courses:
- Acute Illness Management
- Advanced Life Support
- European Paediatric Advanced Life Support

Tom joined us from the world of live entertainment where he worked for many years as a sound engineer and venue technician. Although new to the healthcare environment, his broad technical knowledge has allowed him to settle in quickly. He is enthusiastic, keen to develop his skills in medical simulation and hopes to use his experience of filming, recording and theatrical production to explore new avenues in simulation.

Aldwin joined the simulation team in September 2019 following years of working in the private sector in data management, data analysis and in television broadcasting as system and design engineer.
Coming from an Electronics and Communications Engineering background, Aldwin has extensive knowledge and skills in technical troubleshooting and maintenance.
As well as performing technical troubleshooting and maintenance of the simulators and AV system, Aldwin also provides support in setting up and running simulation of realistic medical scenarios and delivering technical training and presentations.

Sharon recently joined us having worked for many years in the medical devices industry.
Her previous experience as a qualified nurse has given her a good understanding of the clinical requirements of simulation.
She has worked in a wide range of clinical areas; including anaesthesia, theatres, ICU, NICU, Urology & Gynaecology, Cardiology, and Trauma Orthopaedics as well as on wards.
Sharon can help source the devices and equipment needed for your Simulations. She is also happy to help you with any booking requests and queries you may have.
