Anna joined Newcastle Hospitals as a non executive director in October 2024, following an extensive career as a nurse, midwife and health visitor. She has worked at director-level across the NHS in provider and commissioning organisations and as quality and risk lead at NHS England.
Anna is a professionally registered nurse and midwife and public health practitioner in health visiting, and has significant board level experience as an executive and non-executive director, as well as chairing committees.
Anna has a passion for spending time with staff and patients to understand their perspective on care.
