Dr Kathryn M Clement is a Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare who specialises in medical gynaecology and all aspects of sexual health.
Dr Clement qualified at the University of Oxford in 1995 and was trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in both Oxford and the North East. In 2007 she started subspecialty training in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare with Dr Diana Mansour in Newcastle.
She became a Consultant at Newcastle Sexual Health Services in August 2013 undertaking both sexual health and medical gynaecology.
In September 2023 the gynaecology part of her role was separated from her sexual health role due to changes in provider. Currently she works 2 days a week as a gynaecologist for Newcastle Hospitals based at The Westgate Building on the CAV site. Her special interests are medical gynaecology including menopause care, complex contraception including difficult contraceptive implant removals and colposcopy. She is a British Menopause Society accredited specialist and a trainer for FSRH, BMS and BSCCP qualifications.
