Don’t wait and always call 999 if you see any one of these signs. Every second counts when you’re having a stroke.
Effects of a stroke
- Physical
- Communication
- Tiredness and fatigue
- Problems with memory and thinking (cognitive problems)
- Behaviour changes
- Emotional changes
- Hallucinations and delusions.
Important
The sooner somebody who is having a stroke gets urgent medical attention, the better their chances of a good recovery.
