Dr Andrew Villis is a general paediatric consultant at the Great North Children’s Hospital specialising in acute paediatrics, children’s safeguarding and medical education for undergraduates and postgraduates.
He is the Named Doctor for Children’s Safeguarding.
Dr Villis qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2007 and completed his paediatric specialty training in the North East of England between 2009 and 2018.
He joined the team as a general paediatric consultant in September 2018 and holds the role of Named Doctor for Children’s Safeguarding for the Trust.
