Medical oncologists diagnose, assess, treat and manage patients with cancers using systemic anti-cancer treatments including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
Haematologists diagnose, assess, treat and manage patients with blood, bleeding, thrombotic and red cell disorders. They also work in bone marrow transplantation and are dual trained in both laboratory medicine and clinical haematology.
