Dr Sunil Sampath is a Consultant in Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology at the Great North Children’s Hospital.
Dr Sampath did his General Paediatric training in the Mersey deanery and Paediatric Rheumatology training here in Newcastle and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool. He was awarded NIHR BRU fellowship and Arthritis Research UK Clinical research Fellowship. He has a PhD in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis from the University of Manchester.
Dr Sampath works closely with a well-established multi-disciplinary team in Paediatric Rheumatology. He is a member of the National Paediatric Scleroderma Topic Specific Group and the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology.
He is an active member of Q-Health and is working collaboratively to improve the access to complex medicines in the region.
