Sarcoma support
The North of England Sarcoma Patient Support Group is open to sarcoma patients and their relatives and carers.
The group usually meets on the first Monday of each month from 7.00pm – 9.30pm at the Education Centre, Freeman Hospital.

- Support groups – there are a number of groups in the region who can offer support for people affected by cancer and their families.
- Maggie’s Centre – the Maggie’s Centre on the Freeman Hospital site provides anyone affected by cancer with emotional, practical and social support.
- Macmillan Information and Support Centre – the Macmillan Information and Support Centre at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care (NCCC) is one of the largest Macmillan centres in the region.
- Northern Centre for Cancer Care – you can find out about all the services offered at the NCCC in the Freeman Hospital.
