Outreach
The District General Hospitals have been allocated a NECTAR Consultant. They work closely with the NECTAR Lead Nurse for Outreach and serve as link professionals to form relationships with the DGH teams for future communication and support.
The role of the NECTAR outreach service is to facilitate effective communication and provide a forum for clinical discussion through outreach meetings.
Outreach meetings take place up to twice a year with each DGH and can be undertaken at NECTAR HQ, the DGH or through a video conference platform.
The purpose of these meetings are to provide
- Updates about the service
- Multi disciplinary case reviews
- Identify learning points from case reviews
