Dr Emma Lethbridge is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Freeman Hospital’s Northern Centre for Cancer Care specialising in adult brain and CNS tumours, sarcoma radiotherapy, paediatric radiotherapy and Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) cancer.
Dr Lethbridge completed her undergraduate and post-graduate training in the Midlands, then returned to the North as a Consultant. She was appointed at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care in 2010.
Her clinical practice involves adult brain and CNS tumours, sarcoma radiotherapy and paediatric radiotherapy, and she is the Lead Clinician for Teenage and Young Adult cancer for the Northern Centre for Cancer Care and Great Northern Children’s Hospital, and the wider network across the North East.
Dr Lethbridge is a member of the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) and Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG), and she has a keen interest in training and education.
